Photos Page Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Members of the Green Springs Vol. FD participate in a search & rescue training drill held at St. Francis Health Care Center in Green Springs, OH. Dept. members were given a brief description of the situation at hand and then carried out search and rescue operations utilizing tools and techniques they had at hand. After each evolution, officers conducting the drill critiqued the performance of each group. When the hands on portion of the drill was complete, members returned to station #1 for further critique and round table discussion, as a whole group, on problems encountered during the evolutions. Another portion of the drill covered techniques for plugging off sprinkler heads to control water damage. Junior dept. members participated as victims for the evolutions. Attendance was once again very good, as 27 of the 39 members were in attendance. There were also 4 junior members in attendance.
