Green Springs Fire Department-Station #1

Station #1 is located in the Village of Green Springs, Oh.  The current station was built in the early 1980's on Catherine St., which is on the east side of town.  The building is approximately 110' X 60' with 14' eaves. There are 4 Fire bays, 1 Police bay and 1 EMS bay.  Each bay has a 12' X 12' overhead door with electric opener. The current station replaced a much smaller, brick station,  on South Broadway in the downtown of Green Springs, that is no longer owned by the department.

Station #1 houses Rescue #11, Engine #10, Brush Truck #6, Rescue Boat, Tanker #3, Engine #2, and Ole #1(antique chemical truck). Also is equipped with tools for performing truck & equipment maintenance, Base radio, Generator for the building, extra hose and appliances, and much more.  Station space is also used for fundraising events, and during village celebrations.
